Intry Acceptable Use Policy
1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) defines permitted and prohibited uses of the Intry platform. Because Intry controls physical access to residential and commercial buildings, misuse carries potential safety consequences. All users — residents, property managers, administrators, and API consumers — are subject to this Policy.
2. Permitted Uses
Legitimate access management for properties you own, manage, or are assigned to as a resident
Integration with approved third-party systems via Intry’s published APIs and webhook framework
Configuration and management of access devices, virtual numbers, and notification workflows
Using Intry’s mobile app and portals for personal access event management
3. Prohibited Uses
You may not use Intry to:
Grant or deny access to a building you do not have authority over
Stalk, harass, monitor, or surveil individuals without their knowledge or consent
Collect or harvest resident data beyond what is necessary for property management
Attempt to access, probe, or scan Intry systems beyond your authorized scope
Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract proprietary components of the platform
Use automated tools to bypass rate limits, authentication, or access controls
Use the platform for any unlawful purpose under applicable federal, state, or local law
Resell or sublicense access to the platform without a written reseller agreement
Share API keys, webhook secrets, or account credentials with unauthorized parties
Introduce malware, bots, or disruptive code into the platform or its integrations
4. Physical Safety
Intry may be used in connection with physical entry to buildings. Users must never use Intry in a manner that endangers the physical safety of any person. Approving access for unknown or threatening individuals is strictly prohibited.
5. Enforcement
Violation of this AUP may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account, without refund, and may be reported to law enforcement where applicable.
